Funtimes is run by Loraine and Nicole. Loraine has been at Funtimes for more than 22 years so has a wealth of experience. Nicole has been working within the setting for 8 years and has been an owner for 1 year. Our deputy managrt is Sarah.
Our story
After working as employee Loraine had the opportunity to take over Funtimes in 2018. Nicole then joined Funtimes as co-owner in June 2024. After being an employee at Funtimes for 3 years we were please to be able to offer Sarah the position as deputy manager in September 2024 which she has accepted. It has been such a great experience and a great pleasure to work in partnership with all the wonderful parents and children that attend the setting.
We have a brilliant set of staff who are dedicated to the children's needs. Our aim is to keep your children happy and safe while you are at work or home. We make sure we work in partnership with parents at all time, planning together the next steps for the children's learning.
We had our latest OFSTED inspection in 2023 and received a GOOD which means the world to us.
We are very open about our report which you can see on the OFSTED website and are dedicated everyday to meeting OFSTEDs suggestions but most importantly looking after your children and letting them have fun while you may have to work.
We are a caring setting and are happy to put you in touch with current and past parents if you would like to hear from them directly.

Events & Workshops
Sports day - June 2025
The children are currently learning and practicing their different races to show parents on sports day.
Graduation - July 2025
We are already preparing to say Goodbye to some of our Butterflies when they leave us in July. We are proud to see them become more independent and ready for their new adventures in Primary Schools and Nurseries. Thankfully not all the caterpillars are ready to fly off just yet and they stay with us for another year.
